Kara M. Thoms is the youngest Broker-Sales Associate of the Lois Schneider Realtor sales team. She is business focused having worked in the finance industry, where she provided auditing services for financial institutions. Prior to her finance career she was a corporate interior designer, which included managing projects nationwide.

Her education includes a M.S. in Real Estate Development and Investment from New York University, which allowed her to focus on mastering the real estate transaction, studying all phases of real estate from initiation and deal analysis through negotiation and conclusion. She received her B.F.A. in Interior Design from Syracuse University; a program architecturally oriented allowing for expertise in areas such as residential, corporate, retail, and historic preservation. Kara is also NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) certified; this qualification provides professional recognition as an interior designer to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
